Waterside Hotel Review
We arrived 2 hours before check in after a long international flight, having booked a standard double room. Friendly and efficient check in staff found us a room almost immediately. I am not sure if we were upgraded, but the room overlooked the river and garden and included a spa bath. However what was even better was the indoor pool, hotel spa and gym facilities. These facilities are exceptionally well run and easily accessible to hotel guests.The hotel is close to the airport and there is not a better way to recover from a long plane flight. After a gym session and swim and a couple of drinks in the bar we had a long peaceful sleep in a very comfortable bed. The great service continued until check out. We can't comment on the food as we ate nearby at one of the many close dining options. We have travelled extensively and I rate this amongst the best hotels due to fitness facilities, convenience and quality of staff. We recommend the Waterside hotel for those on holiday or business travellers with limited time who want the chance to exercise and relax a little while in Manchester.

So many amenities close to airport
This is a great hotel for a quick stopover or get away but the family room for 5 was too cramped. We had no room for our bags. Breakfast was fantastic. Looking forward to the spa and massage treatments.
