The worst experience I’ve ever had. I tried calling and messaging grace 24hrs before about checking in and had no response. I didn’t receive check-in instructions until I called Expedia 30mins after I was supposed to check in. When I got there the room was nice but in the Expedia description it says whole property is yours but it’s only one room & a shared bathroom. When I was in my room 2 people had tried to come into my room. There was about 5+ people downstairs. I felt uncomfortable so called Expedia to try & get a refund so I could leave and find a new place. Expedia was no help at the start & said it was up to the host to decide whether they refund the amount. They contacted Grace when I was still inside the house. Grace knocked on my door to check what the issue was. I explained that I felt uncomfortable with people walking in my room and how many people were in the house. She said that the house would be empty tomorrow but I said i still felt uncomfortable. Grace kept insisting for me to stay. I had to say that it wasn’t close to the city centre & that was why I was leaving because she would not take my other reasons. As I was leaving there were two 40+ year old men drinking. One of them was asking about where I live, my age, calling me very pretty. He asked if he could stay with me and for my phone number. After leaving I requested a refund. grace said she had no responsibility for anyone else’s actions that are staying in her property.
