This was one of the best places we have stayed. Lovely friendly helpful staff, clean rooms with great facilities, beautiful cafe and fabulous restaurant. Would recommend this place highly and would not hesitate to book again next time I’m in Manchester.

Great apartment spacious, comfortable, and very well presented. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was excellent, with two different shower head options. Amenities were provided, although a few extra coffee sachets would have been appreciated. The only downside was the lighting, which was quite dim with only one setting. It wasn’t ideal for tasks like applying makeup; however, I had seen this mentioned in other reviews and brought a travel light-up mirror, which helped. I appreciate this may be related to energy and sustainability considerations, but having an option to increase the lighting or adding a bright, illuminated bathroom mirror would be a welcome improvement. Overall, the space, décor, and comfort were excellent, and I would happily stay again.

Location is excellent really close to car park, the Palace Theatre and restaurants and bars of the gay village. Staff on arrival were lovely, really pleasant and helpful. The room was great so much better than just a hotel room. Having a kitchen and sitting area even though we didnt use it much, was really nice. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We havent been to Whitworth locke before but the whole set up from the coffee shop, restaurant and two bars is very good. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

I paid for a two night stay at Whitworth Locke and was really disappointed with the overall experience. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, there was dust throughout, and several of the kitchen utensils were dirty. The shower flooded every time it was used, and the room itself was cold, poorly lit, and extremely noisy due to thin walls and constant street noise. On arrival, the TV didn’t work and required multiple maintenance visits before it was usable. The WiFi also didn’t work at all during our entire stay. Despite being there for two nights, housekeeping never came. No fresh towels, no replacement toilet paper, nothing. For the price, the stay fell far short of the standard I expected. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.
