Upon arrival, there was no hot water called the front desk 2 times was told maintenance would look into it never did so. I went down to the front desk and told them as well.we stayed four nights never had hot water nor did the staff ever care to even check on it. Looking back on their reviews there’s multiple complaints about hot water going back for months. This is a known issue that they refuse to fix.

The check-in location is difficult. There are 2 properties owned by Faro Blanco in close proximity and we tried to check in to the wrong one. Then there is the location of the registration desk. I ran into 3 people who went to the spa area to check in because the signage is so poor. On the positive, the person at the check in desk was awesome and took great care of us. Our room was cold and when I tried to turn on the heat, it didn't work. They had to bring a heater into the room and explained they had to shut down the ability to heat the rooms because using heat made the rooms smell bad.

The property is divided so it’s a walk between the hotel and the restaurant/front desk. The room didn’t get made after several requests. The exhaust fan was not repaired after 2 requests. Coffee maker was a joke and unable to make had to go to restaurant area to purchase coffee and tea. Coffee was unacceptable at this spot The tv service stopped working during the night and called front desk to no answer? Not sure if this was a streaming issue or what. Transactional detached experience

The individual at the front desk barely acknowledged me. She also did not bother to explain the layout of the property. I decided to figure it out myself because I didn't receive assistance from the attendant. It seemed like I annoyed her by my presence at the front desk. I told my wofe that I don't think she said more than 10 words to me in total between check-in or check-out. This interaction set a negative tone because it felt like I am not worth anyone's time, but the company was certainly willing to charge my card and take money from me. Also, it is a small thing, but we called the desk for towels and we got towels. Then we asked for a replacement bulb for a lamp in the room and got towels. Lastly, we asked for clean cups and got towels. We made a joke out of it, but it reflects the lack of interest that peopke showed in hearing from us as guests. One other small thing, it might be helpful to have a microwave in rooms or one on each floor.

There is room for improvement on the management here. It’s a very pretty resort with everything needed to be a huge win and place to return to time and time again. Some of the staff is making a great effort but there were a few shortcomings like no hand soap in our room and also missing from another guest’s room who we were traveling with. Perhaps it was just a weekend of short staff.

Room is nice and clean as well as the overall facilities. Check in process was very rough being that we did not get our Hilton Diamond benefits. Check-in agent must have been new and was not confident or very friendly. Told to come back at 2:45 as our room upgrade was going to be available yet came back at 4:45 and they tried to tell me no rooms were ready yet normal check in time was 4:00pm. Did not get any room upgrade but they did give us one one of the worst with a dumpster view. Would try to stay somewhere else next time.
