While the outdoor property was beautiful the rooms were small. Our room was clean but not very family friendly. The bathroom plugs didn't work out the tv. The person who checked us in seemed in a rush and not very friendly. The coffee shop and pool were nice.

The grounds and room were beautiful. We checked in on Monday with no hot water. I reached out to the staff multiple times from Monday to Thursday in regards to having no hot water. I finally went to the main desk Thursday right after 12pm because the ‘manager’ was actually there. She did at that point move us to another room. Poor customer service for multiple days. I should never have to approach a hotel about hot water - the hotel knew about the problem per their words. The hotel should have had a fix immediately. We paid way too much money to not have hot water.

No hot water, talking with others, it had been days the hotel was having issues. 3 out of 4 pools were freezing cold. Only 1 was heated. There was a dirty pair of socks on the floor under a bed in our room when we arrived.

Beautiful property, great staff, very clean!! Restaurant was overpriced & not good service at all!! Only other complaint was you have to pay to park your car which is absolutely ridiculous as there is no reason to have your guests pay to use a parking lot that is pretty much empty, no security watching your vehicle either. You are a guest at their hotel and paying good money to already stay there and then you pay to park to just stupid - no reason for it but greed!

No Hot Water in Room.

Second time in 14 months stayed at this hotel. I learned when checking in the hot water wasn’t working in several rooms but should be repaired later on Day 1. At night of Day 1 there was a note under my door said Hot water heating will be repaired between 12:00-6:00 AM which was beginning of Day 2. Hot water did not work. I finally called front desk after being out in water all day that hot water was still not working at approximately 7:00 PM. Front desk receptionist said manager won’t be in until 8:30-9:00 AM which is Day 3, I checked out of the hotel at 7:00AM before manager arrived.

Issues in the room like main room light and phone not working. I notify staff immediately the first night and nothing is done. Next night the sink plumbing fails and water floods the bathroom. They supposedly can’t find maintenance to address it until the next morning. Keep in mind I have to leave the hotel building and walk to the front desk located at the Lighthouse restaurant every time I want to address an issue since no one bothered to attempt to fix the phone issue (no telephone cable hooked up and unavailable for some reason). Some random guy who does not introduce himself is brought in by the maintenance guy who fixed sink to tell me he was out of town and the phone issues can’t be fixed unless we switch rooms. Ice machines don’t work. No pool towels ever. Room was not cleaned properly while we were out. For what we paid it is shameful accommodation.

Great place with nice amenities and friendly staff. Improvements - One of two elevators was not working throughout our stay. The hot tub on adjoining shared Marriott property was not working either.

The cost was way too expensive for the stay! The bathrooms toilet seat, and base of the toilet was loose. The cabinet door by the fridge was lying on the floor. The maintenance person responded immediately, as we were leaving the room. When we arrived back the cabinet door was fixed, the toilet seat was fixed, but the base of the toilet was still wobbly. The maintenance man applied caulk to the base, but he did not tighten the bolts…

Wow, wasn’t expecting the changes to this property and not for the better! The room is showing it’s age and needs some maintenance. The smoke detector is removed and wires protruding through the wall. Bathroom floor was dirty and a recleaning didn’t remove the greasy tracks from the tile. There was also no handle on the inside of the bathroom door making exit difficult. The mini fridge was broken and never replaced or repaired. On initial check-in we had to ask for a garbage can and towels. If you rang for customer service or house keeping it rings forever with no answer. Upon check-out there were charges added that the staff couldn’t explain and they were reluctant to print a zero balance receipt. The two staff members present (Dazzy and Jasmine) weren’t rude but were completely uncooperative, dismissive and refused to summon management. I’ll be disputing these charges. There is no handicap parking adjacent to the registration area or cafe entrance. What a shame! This was our go-to destination in Marathon but we won’t be back!

Very good,other than the bartender.

Resort was nice,room spacious and clean,our phone was not working,coffee was missing from room & price list for bar was missing. Our bartender was a bit snobby( forgot his name,sat,march 8)gave us a rude reply when we asked about not giving us a happy hour menu Our shrimp cocktail was spoiled total taste of Ammonia, we both tried one and left it ,thank goodness we didn't get sick.Iam sure it was a fluke cause everything else we saw looked good but the chef should have caught it.The bartenders attitude not the shrimp made us decide to dine elsewhere. Overall the resort was very nice and we would stay again.
