The room smelt so musty it made us dry reach. Tv haning off wall and didnt work. Smoke detector hanging open with no battery. Room dusty and not vey clean. We ended up leaving and didnt stay. No one at reception to talk to. Another lady was at the reception wanting to complain and no one answered the bell.

The property is isolated & far from the shops but very relaxed. We came from a wedding event & drove back in the dark thru the winding road but it was a pleasant drive. You are in the heart of nature. Plenty of walking tracks. There's a water fall nearby. The Dandenong Botanical Garden is also close by (drive). We'll be coming back to this property time & again. Highly recommended 👌

Very Nice in Kalorama

Overall, this was very good. It was a little away from everything, but the room was fine (& very warm). The site itself is lovely with rosellas & cockatoos (& evidence of visits by either rabbits or kangaroos-not seen by me). There's a lovely common area with a pool table & pretend fire. The staff were very helpful. The only thing I would warn people about is to enter via Link Rd - the alternative has a Kosisoko like climb & my ute stalled (it worked out in the end, but Link Rd is much simpler

I booked 1 overnight stay and checked-in around 8 pm on Saturday. Reception had closed by 4 pm and my room key was sitting on the counter in an envelope with my name on the outside. The facility actually has a locked after-hours room key safe, but, this was not used instead. This felt very unsafe to me. The ground floor was extremely noisy with the other customers pacing back and forth and shouting in the courtyard. A very disruptive place. I wouldn't stay here again. I left the next morning at 6 am.

The rooms are very tired and in need of a refresh. The lights are dim and some power points have been blanked off. The TV and supplementary heating barely work. This gives the feeling of cheap and mean management.

The rooms were noisy and weirdly the tv only had abc channels. There was also an odd rule about no alcohol bought into the rooms, which if you had it then it would be taken from you. There was no kettle either and the shower door came off the rails. Also the walls were paper thin and could hearing everyone coughing and snoring. Plus the ducted heating was not able to be controlled via individual rooms so it was on all night, coming on and off every couple of minutes. Overall it made sleep impossible and I had a very uncomfortable night.
