This is a very hip hotel in the middle of a very hip area of Miami. Although the rooms are on the small side they are EXTREMELY intelligently designed and make use of the space so they don't seem cramped. A simple design decision like having the shower door open INTO the shower buys you real estate in the bathroom and they made smart choices like having a dedicated ironing room on each floor instead sticking an iron in every room that most folks would never use. Being able to control virtually the entire room from an iPad is super convenient too. The common spaces are visually engaging and include a nice mix of inside and outside seating. The only ding on the hotel, and it's really more a function of that entire area of Miami, is the lack of onsite parking. Be forewarned when you book that you need to prearrange parking before you get there if you have your own car or you are likely to spend an hour driving around in the bedlam of Miami traffic trying to find a parking spot. Fortunately (as we discovered) there are several garages conveniently located nearby that are pretty reasonably priced.
