This is a typical older hotel in the area. It's nothing special. The room was comfortable, albeit virtually windowless. It was a 1st floor room over the alley. Maybe pricier rooms have better "views". The best thing about this place is that it's a block off the main drag, so quieter.

Great getaway

Great location. Comfortable beds. Nice to have options of a rooftop pool or going to the beach. Even after check out we had access to the pool. Would recommend.

The pictures are not what the rooms look like in reality. the room access is through the restaurant which is a bit odd. the room floor was dirty, the slippers were stickling to the floor. the only parking available is valet which is $50 per night. They charge a resort fee, not sure what that provides the customer. The mattress seemed like it had not been changed in 20 years as one could feel the springs. On providing these details to the front desk, a sorry look was all they could offer. I am surprised that Hyatt is associating their name with this property. I will never come back to this place
