There were poop stains all over the sheets and mattress. I left the room for one hour and came back to the door unlocked and someone had pissed all over the toilet. Immediately told the front desk and left as I felt unsafe.

Staff was amazing! They ley us check in several hours early so we weren't stranded with our bags until check-in time! They also gave us complimentary drink cards & let us keep our bags there after checkout until we left to the airport!

Location is perfect. The room was a nice size. It was very dusty and the toilet was like a public restroom toilet and it had to be flushed twice. The plumbing was not up to par. The location was the best part.

At check in, your representative, Godfrey was wonderful. He was so friendly, helpful and went out of his way to make sure our check in experience and stay was great. Essex House has a fantastic location but employees like Godfrey make the stay that much better.

Amazing location! Just a block from the beach and tons of restaurants and shopping. A little worn, but overall very comfortable. Shower water pressure was wonderful! The staff are friendly and professional. I'll stay here again for sure.

Excellent, beautiful hotel. Only one thing I didn't like was there was no food or store with in walking distance and the hotel shuttle will only take you with in 3 miles from the hotel to find food.
