NCL cruise

The rooms are old, and smelly. The furniture is old and ragged, the carpet is nasty and the bathroom was terrible. This hotel is in a great location but for the amount of money we paid it wasn’t worth it. They are in desperate need of some renovations. I will not be staying there again.

Wouldn’t stay again

We got our room and there was someone in it and had to go back down to get a new room. The lady at the desk was very rude when we told her. The bell man was an amazing person. He helped us with everything that we needed and was always nice and polite. The hotel also does not look like it does in the pictures.

Property is nice and convenient to shopping and dinning. The person checking me in did not know much about the area just handed me a map. When I booked I was told they had a pool which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The pool is closed and I was never notified. I would have booked somewhere else had I known.

Unacceptable

Missed our flight, contacted hotel immediately as well as hotels.com, was told it was being looked into. Haven’t heard a thing. When our new flight arrived at 7am I contacted the hotel that said they were still charging us, then I said I want to stay in the room from 7am until 11am because we were exhausted from a terrible travel day. We were informed that they sold our room, and we weren’t able to check in for 4 hours, and we were still going to be charged. Let’s just say, terrible service on both ends, hotels.com and holiday inn

Location was great for being close to the cruise port. The heat did not work and it was freezing all night in our room. I turned the heat on only for the temperature to drop even more. The staff I encountered were all nice and friendly.

The condition of the property is quite poor. The toilet paper holder literally fell right out of the wall, leaving plaster and sheet rock all over the bathroom floor. Also, the bathroom has no ventilation. Secondly, this hotel is advertised as providing complementary breakfast and yet the continental is $30 for all guests and any other breakfast meals were also only on order.
