Absolutely disgusting hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! We stayed here as our TA suggested it as it was close to the cruise terminal. (Thats about all it had going for it)
The hotel hallways, rooms, basically everywhere within the hotel, had a moldy, dusty, damp smell.
The roof was peeling in the bathroom, it was stained throughout, faded, old & falling apart.
The carpets hotel wide, were disgusting. We doubted that our room was even vaccumed before we checked in with how filthy it was. We wore shoes the entire time we were in the room, including trips to the bathroom.
The elevators made you feel like you were dicing with death, because they are that old & malfunctioning!
I barely slept, worried I was going to get bitten alive by bed bugs.
We all were dying to get out of this hotel & onto our cruiseship to shower & rid ourselves of the filthyness from staying. We laundered everything we wore in this hotel after staying here. We felt dirtier, after, a shower!
It needs to be knocked down & rebuilt! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
We are shocked its still operating, as it surely can't meet code?
