The good: The hotel is in a good location. Close to downtown and some nice restaurants. Walking distance to the several shops (Walgreens, Publix) The breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen. Great selection but it was the same for our entire 4 day stay (not necessarily a bad thing) Room was large. Bathroom was modern and clean. Pool area was nice. Great view (except construction) Lobby looks nice. The Bad: Thin walls. We could hear everything going on in the room over as if they were in the room with us. Maybe this was because we were placed in a room that was meant to be an adjoining room (but we didn’t know the guests in the room over) The TV is not a smart tv which was disappointing. There is a lot of construction going on in view of the hotel so there is a bit of noise and the view of the city is covered.

We booked a suite for our family of four. The space was lovely. Given the booking for the number of people, it would have been great if they could have set the room up with the additional linens in advance. Overall very nice stay and breakfast was lovely.

Although the staff was very accommodating and comped my parking and offered a discount. I did not like the statement that the pre-paid confirmed booking that i got from expedia is only subject to availability. It just did not click for me. The hotel is pretty and very clean, everyone was very helpful and attentive the reason I give them 3 stars is because the reception area has a lot of perfume I got bad migraine; I don’t recommend this place for people that is very sensitive like me with the smell. Another reason was that is a construction in front of the hotel, so it was noisy and inconvenient to go through, during my 3 days stay I heard a lot of noise in front of my door for other people. I don’t know if was a guess or people working there but was very early in the morning and the people was talking for 30 minutes or more. Food was very good except my husband and I got intoxicated with the breakfast buffet, so I traveled from Houston to Miami for a weeding and I was very sick during the event and the next day that I was flying back to my hometown.

Overall an okay stay however we were let down by very loud building work taking place on both sides of the hotel over the weekend. This unfortunately wasn’t flagged to us by Expedia or Novotel in advance and had we known we would have picked a different hotel for our trip. One of the main selling points for us was use of the rooftop pool so be sure to check for weekend building work if this is a priority for you. Positives: Good location, clean & spacious rooms, nearby supermarket & pharmacy.
