Good - room was very large and spacious. They were able to allow me to check in early. Very close to Doral Central Park which is a nice recreational area. Airport shuttle service was adequate. Bad - sofa bed was broken, which we needed due to our family size. Ended up pulling the mattress out and sleeping on the floor. Very bad - There was construction at the property next door on a Friday late night/Saturday early morning. Was not able to sleep at all. This was not disclosed to us. Would not stay again.

The staff was courteous and helpful, they offer a good selection for breakfast, pet friendly, good amenities, and a nice, clean, quiet room. However, there is ongoing construction on a large lot nextdoor, less than average walkability, and limitations to the airport only shuttle service - starts at 9 am and is only for the airport, not for a radius around the hotel due to insurance restrictions.

Our stay at the Residence Inn Miami Airport (11/30–12/1) was extremely disappointing. The overall quality of the hotel is very run down. Our first room (420) had a strong odor that caused my son to cough, stains on the bedding, and hair in the towels. The refrigerator was beat up, the walls had visible marks, and the chairs had layers of dirt. We were moved to room 624, where a washcloth had makeup on it and the kitchen floor was visibly black and dirty. My grandmother’s accessible room (224) also had odor and cleanliness issues. The hallways and common areas had visibly dirty floors with built-up stains, showing the cleanliness problems were property-wide. Travelers should also know the airport shuttle does NOT run until 9 a.m., which was not disclosed. We had a 5 a.m. flight and would not have chosen this hotel had we known. We only stayed because it was very late and we were traveling with elderly and young family members. This hotel requires major cleaning and maintenance. Would not stay again.
