This is a good apartment overall. It’s a short walk to the Duomo and is close to shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is well kept and cosy. The beds are comfortable and there is lots of space. It is in good shape although are some areas where the paint is peeling off the walls. However, there are a few issues. The shower is very small, to the point that if you were a larger sized person, you wouldn’t fit in there. It wouldn’t be a good place to stay if you are a light sleeper, there is quite a lot of noise from the home owners in the building and from the street behind the apartment. I used ear plugs and that helped to an extent.
Finally, I find it really irritating that despite booking a two bed apartment, that the operator will only make up the second bed if there are more than two people staying there. We had to pay €20 extra per night to have the second bed made up. Why would anyone book an apartment with a second bed if they didn’t intend using it? And why is the charge for the second bed per day - the bed was made once, yet we paid €20 per day for that. I think it’s a blatant money grab
