The Piccolo is a good basic hotel in a fairly central location with good proximity to the .public transport system, The room was on the small side and a little dated, but was comfortable enough.The staff were friendly and helpful.

Economy hotel close to the convention centre

Hotel Piccolo was the only option in a walking distance to the Milan Convention Centre during my two days stay, I got an economy single room. The room opens directly to the foyer, the room is absolute rudimentary, the bathroom is managable only by the slims. The continental breakfast was good. The staf was helpful and kind.

The hotel room is basic but clean and the bathroom is spotless too. Very reasonable price. The continental breakfast was excellent, located close to the local metro service which is 20 minutes in to central Milan and a special train direct to the San Siro stadium which was our main reason for our break. Top marks, good hotel & a great city.

A very tight fit

The bathroom was so small you could barely fit. Almost impossible to get in the shower it was such a tight fit. Otherwise simple room, but clean. You have to walk up one flight of stairs to the elevator. Great area.

Charming old-style European hotel at a great price

This is a small hotel in an older building, so it is not a huge, modern luxury hotel. But it offers old-school European charm, which I enjoy. The room was adequate + comfortable, included free wi-fi and a very nice breakfast with hot + cold selections. The price was surprisingly low for a hotel in Milan, and it was in a nice neighborhood. The reception staff were exceptionally caring + helpful, which made us feel truly welcome and safe. I will stay here again when I am in Milan!
