We just spent five days at the Millfield Homestead with our family, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we booked, the communication from the owner, Emma, was exceptional—clear, friendly, and helpful. The peaceful country setting made our stay even more special, with kangaroos often spotted around the property and beautiful morning coffees enjoyed on the verandah. The house had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Making memories at Millfield

Our extended family gathered to celebrate my Mum’s 80th birthday. The house comfortably accommodated 13 adults and the combustion fireplace and ducted heating kept us nice and cosy on the chilly winter mornings and evenings. During the day, we enjoyed the nearby wineries and roo spotting from the verandah. One night we fired up the outdoor pizza oven for a casual dinner under the stars. Both the house and setting are delightful: we had a memorable long weekend!

We had an incredible stay at Millfield Homestead. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for our group of 10 adults. The surrounding property is stunning, with kangaroos in the paddock next door adding to the charm.One of the standout features was the incredibly well-stocked kitchen. It had everything we could possibly need, from proper indoor and outdoor serveware to thoughtful extras like glad wrap, scissors, oil, and even pens. It made meal prep and dining so easy and enjoyable.The homestead is truly a memorable and special place. Peaceful, picturesque, and with every detail considered—we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again

Country Homestead

Fantastic for our large family celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday! Plenty of room for all ages, great dining table for our celebration lunch and dinners, kids loved the wildlife and the room outside to run around! They loved the outside bath and everyone enjoyed the pool. Wonderful memories made . Thank you!

Great size house and spacious location

Lovely property and outdoor spaces. We had a big group of friends together for a 40th birthday weekender and the massive dining table was great, plus such a relaxing and beautiful location. A bit far from the main areas for wine tasting and restaurants so we needed to drive to get there but was easy enough to organise a bus hire to take around wineries
