Here’s a polished version of your hotel review: ⸻ The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was convenient, but there’s not much immediately nearby—expect about a 5–10 minute walk for shopping. That said, the on-site restaurant was fantastic and a great option if you’d rather stay in.

Front desk people and parking valet people were very helpful and courteous. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. We were VERY disappointed that there were no food options available after we returned form the baseball game on Wednesday night.

Was surprised when the receipt came into my email that the only parking available was $35 valet..we parked on the street and fed a meter. Was also surprised when we went down to breakfast that it was $14.95 for a typical Continental breakfast.

Nice place near our family member's new place!

Everything about our first stay at this downtown Minneapolis location was pretty nice, except all three family members agreed that the pillows are awful and need to be upgraded! Valet parking is the best option, it seems, as parking is limited, and for $35 daily, you can go in and out as many times as needed. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, the bar serves good feed and beverages, although nothing is complimentary, including breakfast, except water (which isn't refilled quite often enough), and evening cookies, but the self serve market area has a bigger selection than some. Decent pool and work out space, but NO whirlpool! It's less than a mile from our kid's new home, a safe and well-lit walking distance, so we will very likely be back.

First off, the staff was incredible friendly so I do appreciate them. But so many things happened that made my experience poor. 1) After my flight was delayed, I arrived around 10pm with a phone call telling me they no longer had a room for me. Despite having a reservation! How you can just give someones room away I dont know. They set me up at a different room farther uptown for the night. Longer more expensive Uber for me and now I had to deal with getting back downtown for a meeting in the morning. 2) They said they'd set up a car for me to take me backdown the next morning. Meeting time came and went and it never showed. They ended up telling me to get my own Uber-which they did reimburse-but still 3)Didn't expect anything fancy for the room but it was right over the highway bypass so the road noise was actually quite loud-be prepared to be woken up by a rouge car or motorcycle reving their engine overnight 4) Didnt realize it was pet friendly-had to listen to my neighbors dog barking for 2 hours straight 5) We had an emergency tornado drill where we had to evacuate to the underground parking garage. The first stairway I went down was actually locked at the bottom with no way to exit. Many people were just clogged in the stairway with nowhere to go-big safety concern for me. I was able to backtrack and find another stairway but that was unacceptable. Overall staff was incredibly nice but there are much better places to stay if you need to be close to the convention center
