Marriott Hotels & Resorts - accommodation in Minneapolis - St. Paul

The room was mostly clean. There was a rogue m&m on the floor, and the exhaust fan in bathroom was caked in dust, but it was good otherwise. The shower wasn't draining correctly. The room was very aesthetically pleasing, and was relatively quiet. I loved that the thermostat reacted quickly when I had turned it up! I was sad that they only had decaf k-pods - so I asked the front desk. She looked but only found decaf. The bed was very comfy for a hotel bed! I was pleasantly surprised. I was also really disappointed the hot tub was broken but that wasn't mentioned at any point in time. One of the biggest reasons I went was for the hot tub... The kids area was cool, other than needing a new paint job and one of the features was broken. My kids still had a fantastic time, and it was so convenient being that close to MOA.

The staff was excellent and professional, while still being personable. The room was modern and clean. The family enjoyed the indoor pool. My only suggestion is to have someone patrol the outside of the grounds for random garbage. Granted, it was fairly windy while we were there, but there was some garbage that looked like it had been there for some time, which can be expected after a winter thaw. Also, there was road construction right outside our window. The kids had fun watching them work, but they work around the clock which made it difficult to get to sleep. I know the hotel has no control over that, but guests should be made aware and be given the option of having a room in a quieter area of the building.

While the room was clean the beds were terrible. Solid as concrete and the frames squeezed of metal and ended up moving. Bathrooms were in need of some updating.
