Try somewhere else first l

I would recommend finding somewhere else if you have kids or even want to have better service. If you are in a pinch it will do. Hotel is about 5 minutes from the mall of America and is right across from a Walmart.

100% believe this place is filled with mold. Staying one night made us sick and we're still recovering as I write this review, two days later. My husband and I checked in at 11:00pm and checked out 6:00am. The area was a little sketchy at night and the room lined with full mirrors behind the bed was very strange, but the smell....I don't know how to describe how truly AWFUL the room smelled....almost like stale pool water and chemicals. They even had an "ozone purifier" machine that looked like some fire hazard from the 70s. It literally hurt our chests and throats to breathe in this room. My husband was coughing up junk all night and I woke up with a bloody nose. We both felt terrible the next day and we're still coughing. This hotel is unsafe for your health and we would have been better off sleeping in our car.

I didn't stay. Microtel wanted to double charge me after the booking through Expedia. I've had this happen before and I ended paying for two hotel rooms instead of one previously. I'm starting to think Expedia isn't worth doing business with. This was my wedding weekend. Not happy!!!!
