Lillypads makes the very best of the tropical rainforest setting, featuring two rainforest Cottages that are set harmoniously within the vivid green rainforest. Couched between the Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef and only minutes to the quaint village of Mission Beach situated on the beach overlooking Dunk and Bederra Islands.

The Cottage's overlook the lily lagoon and gardens with views to the mountain range. The lagoon and gardens are designed to attract the splendid rainforest creatures.

These 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom luxury rainforest Cottages offer open plan living - kitchen area opening onto screened indoor - outdoor verandas. You can sit and gaze over the lily lagoon from the front verandah or you can relax in your spa tub on the back verandah and gaze in to the rainforest. Bliss.

The kitchen has it all for the Home Chef - cooking will be a pleasure not a chore.

For the occasional days or nights when the cool breezes from the rainforest are not gently wafting through the cottage there is the option of air-conditioning.

For those who like to lay beside the pool Lillypad's pool area is ideal. There are semi-shaded decks for each cottage adjoining a cool deep 11 meter saltwater pool set into the lagoon.

Lillypads is pure indulgence for couples, families or the perfect tropical honeymoon.

A beautiful mini break away from it all

We absolutely loved our stay here! So much that we didn’t want to leave to explore mission beach! It was the perfect getaway amongst nature and felt like even though we were inside, we were very much in the rainforest too. Can’t wait to come back!

Calm and rejuvenating

It’s been a wonderful stay in a beautiful setting with all amenities you want catering for all ages of our family. It is so close to everything, from beaches, shops, rainforest walks and if you just want to hang out and watch the wild life the pool was perfect for the children. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Property set in easily accessible, yet secluded setting. All kitchen equipment required for a self catered stay available. Large front enclosed porch provides a lovely setting for breakfasts and dinners, complete with frog-song. Swimming pool very welcome on hot days.

Cosy, clean, modern, private, tranquil, set against mature rain forest with just the sound of frogs and the creek out back. It is much cooler here because of the forest all around that still allows plenty of breeze through, and sitting in the spa at night was surprisingly enjoyable, even in the middle of wet season! The swimming pool by the lily ponds was great to cool off in during the day. It feels like a long way from the outside world which is exactly what we wanted but is a very short drive into town and Mission Beach itself, with a shopping centre less than 10 minutes up the road. Definitely recommended as a perfect little hideaway that exceeded our expectations.

Quiet and peaceful

Lilypads is a great destination if you want a quiet, peaceful weekend close to the village and beach. The cottages are very well equipped, so you can be totally self-sufficient if you want to be. Cassowary sightings seem to be almost guaranteed! Highly recommended.

Such a well equipped peaceful and private house, perfect for a romantic couples getaway from it all.The cottage has all you need for a short or long stay, covered and screened veranda the place to be to listen to and view all the Rainforest has to offer. Minutes from Mission Beach and the ocean, so much to see and do right on your doorstep on The Cassowary Coast, truly a little piece of paradise.

Absolutely loved this place, very private cottages with the rain forest right next to us, we even saw a cassowary wander past every morning! The interior of the cottage was really stylish and practical with everything you could possibly need being there. It was also very romantic with the spa bath. We loved Lilypads! in one word "Perfect"!

From the initial phone call I knew this place would be special. Between Vicky and Nancy the description was perfect. Upon arrival at the red chalet we found everything and more required. Far better stocked than my home cupboards! Relaxing with a massage or spa, lying by the pool or strolling the gardens in search of herbs, fruit or Cassowaries. Three nights was not enough, I can't wait to return. Thanks ladies.
