Casa Wagner is an excellent choice if you want to stay right in the heart of Brașov. This was our second stay here—and in the same room we stayed in last year—which says a lot about how much we enjoy this property.
The location is fantastic, directly on the main square. We stayed during Christmas, and the Christmas market was literally right outside the hotel, which made the experience especially festive and convenient. Check-in was lovely, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They even offered us the option to change rooms if we wanted, which was a thoughtful touch, and we discovered another room we’d love to try on a future visit.
Everything about the stay felt easy and pleasant: great restaurants all around, a very central location, and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
The only real inconvenience is parking, which is farther away—but this has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Parking around the square is strictly enforced by a private company, and even being a few minutes late can result in a hefty ticket. Be very careful where and how you park, as the ticketing process is slow and bureaucratic—we’re still waiting to find out how much one ticket will actually cost.
Overall, Casa Wagner is a charming, well-located hotel that we happily return to, and we would absolutely recommend it when visiting Brașov.
