My room was clean but the surprising thing is that you have to request that it be cleaned after the first day. I did not know that so the first day, my room was not cleaned and it wasn't until I called to complain that I was informed. They did a great job when they came in. Something to be aware of is that all the hotels are cutting back on staff and so the main lobby check in /out is a bank of machines where you are expected to check in and out and print your key cards yourself. There was only 1 human for special issues. I am a senior and was completely overwhelmed. The very nice, though FEW security people put me on the line for a human check in.
I just want to say, this is happening in all the hotels there from what others tell me. I really liked the Luxor, when you did meet staff, they were all very nice.
