It was a wonderful stay and the place had fine rooms with balconies in the upper stories with view of the sea. It had a nice pool and very good breakfast room. Good location. We will definitely visit again

A wonderful location in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. An easy walk to all the great shops and restaurants and ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, so close to downtown, lots of restaurants and shops just steps away. The room was comfortable although there were almost no amenities. The room was clean although the odor of cleaning fluids was so overwhelming that we had to leave the door open for at least 30 minutes to get rid of it. There is a little refrigerator and coffe maker but no safe or lotion. The staff was efficient and friendly.

Our stay was wonderful. Flowers in floating flower beds and a charming little room with a fire place and home style bathroom. If we are ever in the area again I would absolutely return.

Our room was super clean with quality updates that seemed new. Decor was well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We had a wrap around balcony with ocean and town views. The ocean breeze kept the room cool in the daytime and the fireplace kept us warm while enjoying the stars at night. Staff was hospitable and breakfast was excellent. It was a perfect stay!
