Will not stay there again

First our door key wouldn’t work. So they gave us new one and it still didn’t work. Then they said they had to work on it and then made it so the door wouldn’t even lock at all…they did eventually get it to work. It was very dirty stains on the towels and sheets. We will not be staying there again.

The room we were in was in terrible disrepair. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by a wire, there were holes in the bathroom door and the front door had clearly been broken multiple times and just screwed back together. The walls were dirty and I did not feel safe in a hotel in this condition.

I booked this property for a birthday trip with my best friend. We came down from Oregon and Washington. Upon check in, we were given a room on the bottom floor. The first thing I noticed was that the smoke detector in the room was missing. Wires were hanging down and no detector was present. The sprinklers were rusted over and I don’t believe they would have worked. Secondly, the floors were extremely dirty. After walking through the room once from the bed to the bathroom with bare feet, my feet were black. Next, the bathroom door did not close unless forced, there were holes in the walls, the countertops were filthy and had multiple dents in them. On top of all this, there was no pee hole in the door so we were unable to see who was outside if anybody knocked. The walls are so thin that we hurt absolutely everything. A couple next-door we’re having a fight and she was screaming at him, the couple above us were extremely “active” if you get my meaning. Sleep was very hard to come by. On our last night, there, at 5 o’clock in the morning, the fire alarm went off outside our door for approximately 15 minutes, but nobody was evacuated, the fire department did not show up, and nobody could tell us what was going on. The entire property felt unsafe, extremely dirty, and not up to par for a Radisson. The pool that they were supposed to have was boarded over so we were unable to use that as well. The walkways were also filthy. Not recommended!

It was a great location to drive along the coast and get to Monterey. The Marina state beach is within a short walk. The room was very small and the bed wasn’t too comfortable. we had to get towels from the maids because no one came by during our 3 night stay to clean or check if we needed anything. It was adequate for our needs. Nothing special.

Overall, the place feels like a cheap motel. There were used Zyns plastered all over our wall and ceiling, the fire alarm was covered with a plastic bag, no towels at check in, our room was never cleaned or linen changed as promised since we stayed 5 days- they supposedly come every 3 days. When walking by other vacant rooms, windows were left wide open, some with no screens- left dirty for the entirety of our stay. Who knows what was able to get into rooms left like that before they were turned over for next guest left dirty for days. Staff was polite at the front desk and dining however the place needs a serious deep clean. Walkable to the beach, close to freeway entrance and many food options in a close proximity.

Stay away and stay at motel 6 instead.

Had to change room twice due to broken door/non working tv. Web say daily house keeping, that's a lie. Rude attendant/male. The propert/rooms are not up to par. Holes on the walls, dirty walls. Linen with holes and stains. But if I was to stay there ever again, which I will never do that, the place will be in the same state. No changes as long as people keep putting money into the pockets of the property owners/company.

When we attempted to check in, no one was available for several minutes. There was uncleaned food waste on the floor in the main office and cafeteria area. Our room had many stains on the bedding, sheets, pillow cases, and walls. The thing that encouraged us to leave and get another hotel was where the smoke detector should have been, there was an open hole in the ceiling with wires hanging out.

Run down, maintenance lacking. Patched holes, cigarette butt burns on the sheets, no towels, used disposable lotion on the sink, small mice turds behind the dresser. Bed covers although similar in color, did not match. Room too small for two beds, so they were pushed up against each wall. Shower curtain placement encouraged more water on the ground than in the tub. Cleanliness lacked. Saw/smelled some serious sketchiness going on. How is this a Radisson? Positives: Location and surprisingly quiet at night. If you stay here: Get here early for a room up front.

This hotel was nothing like the pictures shown on the website. One of the beds had stains on the comforter, there was a hair ball on the shower wall, no towels and no hair dryer. When I asked for towels they brought me one bath towel two hand towels and a floor mat. The breakfast, was a biscuit and gravy, toast, coffee, small yogurts and toast. There was no pool as shown on the website. I know the employees deal with the limited items they are given to prep the rooms. This all lands on the shoulders of the hotel owners who promise a service and environment described on the website. This is misleading making people think they will be receiving descent service for the money they spend.
