We stayed at the Dreams Lodge in Monteverde for two nights and had a very nice experience. We arrived in the early evening and were met by a very friendly professional and polite young lady who explained the B&B to us and showed us to our rooms. The parking was a little cramped but not bad. The room was quiet and clean and delightful and had a mini fridge. The next morning, we went to breakfast and were met by the owner Antonio who was a very friendly and outgoing host. He explained the history of the dreams lodge and suggested places of interest to visit and to eat at locally. The dreams lodge was close to many businesses and within walking distance to several nice places to eat. This was an exceptional place to stay, and we would highly recommend it. We will return.

The unit was small but quaint. There was not much ventilation and it got a bit warm. We could not leave the bathroom window open because there was no screen.

Our stay at Dreams Lodge was phenomenal. Tony was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made our experience one to remember. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious. Tony helped us find monkeys, and brought bananas for us to give to them. He had great recommendations for activities and food around MonteVerde. They made sure you were well taken care of and that you enjoyed your stay. We will definitely stay here again. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Very cute property. Nice, clean, smaller rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Hot water came and went (solar water heaters, so not available all of the time). Property was small, but lots of animals. Staff was very helpful! Walkable to grocery store and restaurants.

Terrible plumbing, always noisy due to flushing, substandard room and bedding. Service is not attended to details and doesn't seem to care. No hot water (limited solar heating). It was the worst stay and not worth the money comparing to all other stays in my Costa Rica trip.

Ok stay

This was one of our most expensive hotels we stayed and I was not crazy about it. There is no A/C or fan and unfortunately not a window with net. So we had to open the door to the little balcony and we had a huge spider there next day. Very small room for 4 people staying in a closed room. We ordered breakfast for 7 but they showed up at 7am and we waited at least 20 mins for food. It was ok for us but if you have a cab waiting for you be aware. We also had a mountain view and all we had was very close trees in front of the balcony. The young guy who worked there was very nice and helpful.

Property is nice, but very small. Room was quite tight. It is not walkable to main part of town, but a few restaurants are close enough. Staff was very nice and provided fruit for large number of monkeys to come by at breakfast. So that was really cool.

Our room was actually detached from the rest of the hotel and was quite spacious and lovely. Betsy, who ran the office and helped with breakfast was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and was delicious every day. There were several restaurants within easy walking distance which was convenient because we didn't have a car. Monkeys came to visit during breakfast just before we checked out. Highly recommended

We got to see Capuchin monkeys. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and variety. This lodge hotel is not fancy, but it has a cozy feeling.
