Solo in Montreal

Highly recommend this hotel. The service from Front Desk Check in to housekeeping and restaurant staff were all sperb. An absolutely fabulous location in Old Port would definitely stay here again. Hotel Restaurant Gaspar and Terrace were both fantastic and delicious food and drinks.

Three Nights in Montreal

The location is great in the center of the old port. The nearby restaurants and attractions are friendly and easy to walk to. The hotel has two attached restaurants, Pincette and Gaspar, that are convenient and friendly. The hotel staff were great with luggage assistance, directions, and accommodations. One issue is that some of the rooms, although accessible by elevator, include additional stairways while transitioning from elevator to room. Staff did mention that some of their rooms do not require this stairway access. Overall, we enjoyed our three-night stay and would book again on future stays in Vieux Port, Montreal.

From the staff to the decor to the location, everything was perfect. All three restaurants and bar were superb. Will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. The only thing people should be aware of is it was necessary to use a small staircase to access our room after riding the elevator up

Lovely hotel right in the heart of old Montreal. You're a walk away from attractions, shopping, culture & a myriad of dining choices. The hotel is small, there is only one elevator, but that adds to the charm. The staff is bilingual & takes very good care of you.

Historic building, on the waterfront & beautiful.

The building is beautiful and historic, we had vistas of the water. It is a loud street, so there is nothing to be done about that if you have the windows open, which you should. The bedding was nice and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and it was clean.

The little touches and kindness wins

The hospitality here was great - the team were so kind and helpful. We went for a cheaper room that came with a bit of noise from the restaurant but all in all the place was relatively quiet - we opened our window and heard the roar of the bustle outside not realising how well soundproofed the windows were. The place was clean, bed was comfy and the restaurant serving breakfast was spot on. Perfect location for exploring the city.

Our room is on the 5th floor, just below the Terrace restaurant. It has a great view and wonderful room settings, but the noise from the restaurant clients is outrageous. All in all, the experience with the staff is excellent!

There was some mixup with rooms initially but we got it sorted out. My room was quite beautiful and overlooked the port side. I think the pedestrian street side would’ve been noisy. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the amenities. We were next to the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants so it was a very good location. I wouldn’t book a room by the construction zone to the south of this property (maybe they’re done by now). We had a lovely stay and I would book this again.
