There was only one towel provided. I had to request more. There were no spoons to make tea and coffee. One of the mugs had a massive crack in it, coffee spilled out all over the table.

Cups were unwashed on arrival, ancient air conditioner was loud and leaked pools of water, replacement heaters didn’t work, hot water ran out after 1 short shower, no hair drier or iron, only 1 small motel sized cake of soap for 2 people for 4 nights and no service during guests’s stay. There were no plates, no cleaning materials to clean dishes, and a 2+cm gap with no weather strip under the door letting in a draft. Images used to promote the room we selected showed split ac and updated furnishings.

An unpleasant experience for my colleague at the Latrobe Motel, sketchy people nearby and an arrest downstairs, during the evening he stayed. Room was basic and bed was clean, but no, we won't be returning.

Owner has no right owning motel Customer service shocking Rooms the worst you will ever stay in Stay clear. Stay away. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else bar Morwell and I'm not joking get out of town and head to Traralgon for acomadation.

Not horrible, but really needs work

Overall, the stay wasnt horrible. We booked a last minute room, and got number 8. We had to ask for cutlery and towels for 2 people as we only had enough for 1. As my husband and I laid down for a nap with the aircon on, the airconditoner gushed out water (it's in desperate need of a service). We told reception, they sighed and said they were pretty full, so offered us a $10 refund and towels and a bucket. We told them we'd get a refund and stay elsewhere. They produced a key for room number 17. Number 17 was a similar room, and quite comfortable, but only a spoon was available for cutlery (however, we didn't ask for more). Unfortunately, I didnt take photos, but both rooms were dirty - not vaccuumed or mopped, shower not cleaned, bits of toilet paper around the sinks. Overall, it's not a bad place to stay, we may have experienced an anomoly, but we wanted to share our experience for others looking to stay in the rooms we stayed in.
