Great little hotel - but be vary nothing is free other then the breakfast - if you want a cup of tea or coffee - they will provide and charge you for it. I personally think it un ethical to tell a guest that they can have access to tea or coffee 24/7 but ‘forget’ to tell them there is a charge. Used to staying in large chains where I get these small thing free - lesson learned.

Positives - walkable to old town. Price. Three separate mattress/blanket accommodations. Breakfast offered for a fee. Hard wood floors with new windows and the fan made it comfortable at night. Negatve is the bathroom which is outdated and needs an uograde but still usable. Also elevator is only large enough for 2 people but stairs are easily accessible.

The Hotel was good for the Price. It’s in a convenient Location between the Train Station and old City Centre. The room was really hot though. The Windows don‘t Open much and there is no AC.

Worse than a dump

This is a one-star hotel at best. One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. No A/C. No in room amenities, not even an iron or coffee/tea. The water in the bathroom came out brown, so I had to let it run to get clear. The shower was either freezing or scalding. The light (fluorescent!), switched on only when it felt like it apparently. If you are longing for the days of the former East Germany, if faded grandeur, cracked plaster walls, and fluorescent lighting are your thing, then you’ll feel right at home. Otherwise, run, do not walk from this place. Hotels.com is doing its customers a disservice by listing this place as anything but a one-star hotel, if they should be listing it at all.
