We chose to stay at Moxy because it was conveniently located from the Olympia Park where we attended a music festival. However, I wish I had read some of the reviews more thoroughly. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable for us. They almost feel like they were of overblown air mattress quality. I had read a past review after we checked in that complained similarly…however some people seem to think the beds are comfortable. The hotel has a very trendy lobby and the atmosphere is pleasant and very thoughtfully/cutely decorated. If all you need is the bare bones in your room—this can be a great option. In the future I would stay elsewhere on account of the bed quality. We did appreciate the free coffee downstairs though (plus to go cups) and the staff were very friendly! Also side note, if you’re traveling as a couple…make sure you’re comfortable with the toilet being just a couple meters away from the bed! The sliding door is thin! Overall, Moxy is convenient and trendy but for anyone who values their quality of sleep…bring your own pillow or stay elsewhere.

There is a table outside of my room which invited people to sit at a chat all night long. I am unsure if these folks were staff or other guests. I literally did not sleep soundly for 5 nights due to the loud conversations that took place. The front desk were crass but the bartenders were awesome. Great selection of beer, drinks and games to idle away the evening hours.

Personally, I feel the price of this hotel is too high. Firstly it's a 20 min drive from Munich city centre (which I knew when we booked and didn't matter to us as we had a car) but still for the price, roughly £190 per night was just too much. We had just stayed a couple of night before in the centre of Cologne for £90 less per night. This hotel lacked basic facilities, such as a wardrobe, you just get a few hangers on a wall. It lacked simple extras like most hotels have such as coffee, tea and a kettle and the "accessible" room that we were in was far from accessible. My partner couldn't access most of the room as there was not enough space and then in the bathroom the layout is dreadful for someone in a wheelchair. She struggled using the room overall. Not very impressed with this hotel, especially when looking at the pictures online and the hotel looked amazing but it appears all the hard work has been put into the main area downstairs. Wouldn't make this my hotel of choice in the future.

A funky, modern hotel within walking distance Adele concert. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast selection and hot food and drinks available. Games / pool / comfy sofas and chairs in the large reception area. Rooms comfy and air conditioned. Would deffo stay again!

I have to say that the staff there was amazing! They stayed through the night to get all of the travellers affected by the storm and delayed travel in Munich checked in and many were still there the next MORNING! They were shoveling snow and ice from the walkway and all had a great and friendly attitude!! Amazing! They all deserve Christmas bonuses!!!
