The front desk staff are lovely and helpful. The room was clean, but there was evidence it needed an upgrade. The mattresses were very worn, there was rust on the fridge and microwave and orange discoloration in the shower corners. The beach access was ok, but the area’s pier is under construction and the crane is all you can see. And don’t set down your stuff even by the hotel. My shoes were stolen within 15 minutes of walking on the beach. Which was my fault.

We arrived around 6 pm and check-in was smooth, the lady at the front desk was polite. However, when we got to our room, I noticed it had two queen beds instead of one large bed. I went back to the desk, and she told me the hotel was full but maybe they could change it the next day. When I asked again the following day, she said they couldn’t. This was surprising because the building seemed mostly empty — it’s 16 floors with 11 rooms per floor, and it looked like only about 10 rooms were occupied. It’s hard to believe they didn’t have even one room with a bigger bed available. As for housekeeping, they don’t actually clean your room. Instead, they just knock in the morning to hand you fresh towels. The room itself smelled very old, and we had to buy something to freshen it up just to make it bearable. We also found roaches in the room. When I reported it, the staff simply said “I’m sorry,” without offering any real solution or trying to make things right. It felt like they didn’t care. The hotel is on the beach, which is nice, but for the price we paid, the overall experience was very disappointing. There are definitely better options for the same cost.

My first visit to Myrtle Beach was memorable. While the room was old and had a noticeable odor, the ocean view was outstanding. The breakfast offered was typical for a hotel, but I strongly recommend arriving early to avoid the long lines. The rooms are quite small, making it uncomfortable for larger families. Overall, this hotel provides solid value for the price.

There are several buildings which i didn’t realize. We were across the street from the beach with a view of debris. The bathtub was painted with white paint, as was the ceiling in a spot which looked like it was trying to cover mold. It was so loud outside. The included breakfast was on a completely different building.

The room was clean but we had a lot of trouble with the sliding glass door on our balcony. They did come and work on it but it really needs replaced. Staff was very nice Beach view was great. Pool was nice but I never saw them clean or vacuum it at all and I was up early.

Terrible Experience – Would Never Stay Again Parking was extremely inconvenient, scattered across different buildings with very few spots available. Breakfast was served in a separate building, so you had to walk there—only to find greasy, unhealthy options, no bread, and food handed out cafeteria-style by staff, which felt more like a school lunch line than a hotel service. The room had a damp carpet that reeked of cat urine, making it hard to relax or even breathe comfortably. The balcony overlooked a messy construction site, complete with parked machinery and loud noise starting at 7 AM on a Saturday. To top it off, loud music blasted from the pool area on Saturday, and groups of men were drinking and loitering in the parking lot right outside the lobby at night. The whole environment felt chaotic and poorly managed. I genuinely regret not leaving the same night we arrived. This was a terrible stay—I will never return.
