We arrived the evening before my surgery. We had to move 2 times due to issues with hot water and shower function. The 2nd issue was discovered the morning of the surgery so I was unable to take a shower. Very stressful! I had to be at the hospital at 6am so we couldn't take the shuttle.
Then we became trapped in the parking garage. Apparently I did not finish the parking registration because it required reading a QR code and the license plate #'s. We didn't register until we were back in the hotel so no longer at the car. And it was very cold that day. So we got to the garage exit gate and it wouldn't let us out. There was no recourse, no one to call. I had to get to the hospital. My husband considered damaging the gate. I spoke with the clerk about these issues on checkout, asking about compensation. The They said there was none because I booked with Expedia. And the parking was done through a private company. Now I need to contact them because it appears they overcharged me. A.Stiles
