great hotel

clean modern hotel. great size room with fridge and balcony. very short walk to the beach. helpful staff. assissted us in printing our flight documents. free shuttle to the airport. close to shops and restaurants. on the quieter side of negombo beach. very quiet room. good room service. great choice of breakfast either sri lankan or western. nice pool area. very relaxing stay.

A superb mid size hotel in Negombo - loved it!

Wow! What a find! This is a new hotel (open 5 months) and everything in the room is clean, modern & comfortable. Pool is great & big enough to swim in too. The view of the sea from the balcony is perfect . It’s situated beyond the main drag of restaurants & shops, but it’s an easy 10 min stroll & there’s plenty of choice nearby too.

Ruvisha is a new hotel, so everything was new and worked well. Some rooms have nice balconies (but people can see you from the street). Of course, if you're just sitting on the balcony to read or watch the beautiful sunset people seeing you doesn't matter. The staff is very welcoming. The hotel only has European plugs, which I found interesting. The breakfast is pretty good - typical omelette, toast or pancake, and choice of meats. The hotel is across the street form the beach (hence the lovely sunset) on the main strip with plenty of restaurant, bars, and souvenir shops.
