Stylish 1890's Victorian house centrally located a 1/2 block off Broad St. in the heart of downtown.



3 bedrooms-2 rooms with queen beds & 1 bedroom with a queen bed & a twin bed. Soft, stylish linens. Living room & dining room are perfect for hanging out with your family or friends. Fully stocked kitchen & 2 full bathrooms. There is a porch to hang out on & watch the world go by!

You will have access to the entire house, front porch and back patio.

A couple of things to note:

-This is a Victorian house so the stairs are steep. There is one bedroom and one full bathroom on the 1st floor for anyone with mobility issues.

-Dogs are only allowed with prior consent from host. An agreement to dog rules and non-refundable dog fee will be requested of you! Please mention you will be bringing a dog when you booking with us. No cats, please!

-There is a $30/ night charge for an additional people over 7.

-There is a tandem spot that fits two cars

We have another 1 bedroom Carriage Haus that sleeps 3 that is on the same property. Both units are great for wedding parties & friend & family get togethers!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
-Place used bath, river, wash clothes & hand towels in front of the washer. If you have 2 or more bath or river towels, please start a load w/ detergent -Wash dirty dishes thoroughly, dry & put away.
-Load and start dishwasher -Gather belongings. We charge a $25 fee + shipping costs to return items. -Turn off all lights, fireplace, ceiling fan, small fans & heaters or AC unit.
-Clean the BBQ grill for the next guests, if used. -Late checkouts are SOMETIMES possible but ask 24 hours before check out. If prior approval is not given, we charge $30 every 15 minutes after 11am.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The kitchen was fully equipped and the space was pet friendly. The home is absolutely gorgeous- it feels like a high-end art-deco style hotel. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds comfortable with luxurious linens. The location could not be more convenient, and it was just overall a wonderful place to spend a few days. Can’t wait for our next stay.

We said WOW right when we walked in! This house is stunning and I loved all of the decor throughout. The first floor has everything you need, from a bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and a cute backyard, to being just steps away from the main strip of shopping and restaurants. The upstairs was fantastic, with two bedrooms and another full bathroom. We also enjoyed breakfast on the porch and would absolutely stay here again. Five stars all around!

Great Location and Enjoyable Stay

We were fortunate to find this gem of a place available for the weekend when we attended a wedding in Nevada City. Everyone in our group commented how wonderful this place was as it is within walking distance to the main street, shops and nature trails. It was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed with all of the necessities, including spices. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. The stairs are a little steep but were fine for everyone in our group. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and Jess was a great host.

Great stay

We had an amazing time at Jess's beautiful house which was so meticulously decorated and aesthetically beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the home was perfectly comfortable for our party of three. We loved that their home was close to Nevada City shopping and the Yuba river. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Jess!
