Staff friendly and very accommodating and helpful. Location is perfect. Stayed in downstairs room right on the street, way too noisy if you want to sleep before midnight. Lacks room for toiletries in bathroom. Simple shelves around the sink would help! Good place for a quick stop.

All was good except there was no hot water at the sink, however the shower had great hot water. We got creative and filled the ice bucket from the hot shower and filled the sink with it.

Parking was expensive & difficult to find.The attendant came to greet us at the door but failed to hold it as we struggled through it with our luggage. The room smelled poorly and the hvac worked poorly. The water pressure is nonexistent. The bathroom offered no hooks or space to get ready.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was quaint in classic New Orleans French Quarter style. Our room, 103, was small and was located fairly close to the street where noise was prevalent. Also the room was was very lighted and hard to get dark enough for sleeping. The bed bed was comfortable and the room was cleans.room hard to get dark enough for sleeping.

Loved this little gem! Great location and so charming. A tiny negative was the smell in the room - nothing overly offensive; just typical of older hotels in a very humid environment. Other than that, it was just lovely, and the staff - particularly Tina - were very friendly and helpful.

Perhaps all French Quarter lodging is at a certain level of yucks, but I think that everyone should at least make an effort to dust, fix broken furniture, and ensure all basic utilities are working correctly. The ratings on Expedia for this place would lead you to believe that it is much nicer than reality suggests. Staff is pleasant and helpful and bed was comfortable, I just would rather stay somewhere with less distractingly glaring maintenance issues.

The guest were super friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful room next to the pool, it was an adorable hotel in a great location! Anything you want to do in the french quarter, was quick walk surrounded by attractions and good food. It also gave a good louisiana history vibe. The water pressure was the only thing indid quite like. But it would not stop me from staying here again
