Lovely hotel in a fantastic location

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location. Room was very comfortable but a little noisy at times. The staff were all amazing, especially Debbie at reception, except one lady at reception who was neither friendly nor helpful.

Great stay. The room was impeccably clean and only steps from Bourbon. Staff was excellent. The only negative is that the WiFi was horrible. Kept disconnecting and very slow when connected. This is easily fixable so we will be back on our next trip.

A very enjoyable stay, good service, comfortable room, and conveniently situated and just right for a first visit to New Orleans, I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if I revisit New Orleans.

The property had it's good and not so good points. William was very welcoming when we arrived. The lady at the desk at other times acted as though you were bothering her. The hotel itself has historic charm, but could also use a fresh coat of paint. The inner courtyard is quite nice and peaceful. The location is convenient. It was quiet during the week, but noise definitely carried over from Bourbon Street on Friday and Saturday nights, but at the same time, it wasn't loud enough to disburb our sleep. The bed and pillow were comfortable. Cleaning could be better. Those black tiled floors hide the dirt, and should be mopped more often. A few drops of water spilled from the iron, and when I wiped them up, it was obvious the floor needed a good cleaning. The proof was on the bottom of my socks that were worn only at bedtime in the hotel room. I was shocked at how dirty they were from.walking in the room. Also, the cleaning lady knocked on our door before 11am on our last full day in NO. I let her know I was still in the room and

First room had a machine above me on the roof making grunting noises all night & no hot water. Second room called a “free upgrade” had a bed that you could feel the springs & if you moved, they did too, noisily. Requesting a total refund.

They absolutely have some of the most incompetent staff working here. I rented 4 rooms and was planning to pay all 4 rooms on my card. They charged my day of checking in the full amount then proceeded over the next week and half continue to randomly charge my card whatever arbitrary amount they wanted to. In fact, after totaling the amount they charged my card a total of $7,773 dollars when the original stay was only $3,500. I would warn everyone to stay away!!! Manager has not returned my calls and they keep telling me it’s settled on their end and they can’t do anything about it. The hotel isn’t even this nice for the inconvenience. My room smelled old and musty. There was pubic hair on the toilet when I arrived and bathroom was falling apart:
