Excellent stay

We were greeted at the door by a friendly gentleman who went above and beyond to welcome us. The front desk was wonderful at check-in and check-out. The location was great at the French quarters. Easy walk to river, canal street, and French quarters. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. No complaints. We would stay here again.

The staff made our stay truly great. The location is perfect for tourism and there was really no need for a vehicle. On-site parking was a plus, albeit a bit expensive. We will stay here every trip to New Orleans.

This city parties loud

Iconic, busy hotel facing a noisy street. Our initial room was so noisy we immediately had to move (and upgrade) to the only available one at the back of the hotel which was perfect but much more expensive. Old world charm, excellent staff and cleaners. This hotel is a tourist destination so it is very busy in the lobby and bar. Great location for exploring the city.

We had no hot water for 2 nights of our 3 night stay. Communication was very poor. It wasn’t just our room. I think it was a hotel wide issue. We were offered $100 off our room rate for the two nights. Just about fair but I had to write to the duty manager to get a serious response. Once he got involved the experience was improved.
