Great rooms, beautifully decorated, spacious with amenities such as fridge and microwave. Perfectly located, French Market, Bourbon St all in walking distance. Will absolutely stay there again!

Room was ok. It did lack any table or desk to place items on off the floor, or any hooks to hang clothes or towels on, which was inconvenient. Hallways did smell of mildew, but the odor was not noticeable inside the room. Noise was not a problem. Bed was ok. The staff was fine. Location good.

The property did not live up to the reviews. It seemed somewhat neglected and run down. The elevator was extremely slow and made scary sounds. There were signs posted "For your convenience, complimentary stairs are provided on each end of the hallway"! The carpeting in our 4th floor hallway was very stained, torn and dirty. The wood flooring in our room creaked with every footstep. There was a big portion of the room that was not lighted, and one of the bathroom lights was burnt out. The toilet would double and triple flush on its own, then run for several minutes after that! Also, very few working outlets. The cord on the microwave was not long enough to reach any power source! Overall...disappointing for sure.

Nice Place, Needs Attention

Nice staff, great location. The only downside was cleanliness. Hairs and fingernails and a loose earring were on the couch. Asked for the shower drain to be cleared three times and shower water continued to pool up.

I booked this room with my friend while we were in New Orleans for a bit. The room was awful. It was not clean in the slightest. Honestly the table in the room looked like it had blood on it first of all, no idea if it actually was or not. The lamp on the table was covered in brown stuff and red dots in addition to a ton of dust. The beds were lumpy and difficult to sleep on in addition to very creaky every time we moved, the floors had white specks all over them. Not sure what those were. The bathroom was difficult to feel comfortable showering in as the floors of the shower were a blackish color, the common areas such as the hallway were also covered in white specks that didn’t look like it was part of the carpet pattern. Also the neighborhood just felt iffy walking around in. I told the staff and they did ask how they could improve our zxperience at the hotel, but my friend and I just felt more comfortable staying at a diff hotel and checked out after one night.

Overall decent property. If you are a light sleeper, I probably wouldn't sleep here. Walls are thin, and you hear everything in the streets. But it's a cute boutique hotel. A little bit of an old smell, it's an old building but it's charming.

We pre-paid our stay but when we checked in we were charged and undisclosed additional amenity fee of $50. I was then told it was for the free wifi and coffee that could only be obtained in the lobby since there were no coffee makers in the rooms. The hotel was in a good location with an attached restaurant and the room was nice although you could feel the unlevel original flooring under the laminated flooring which creaked as you walk on it.
