Perfect! The location is ideal, you’re far enough away to not have to hear the noise of Canal all night, but close enough to walk right outside and to all the bars, restaurants and everything Canal has to offer. The staff were very nice from the minute we checked in! Love the option of self parking or valet! The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a whole kitchen setup. The rooftop is also a great vibe and you can get great views of the city! Overall I’d most definitely stay here again!

1) The front desk staff is outstanding - I wouldn’t even venture to say some of the best in the business. They know what they’re doing and they bust their butts to make sure all the guests have a good trip. Unfortunately? That’s about all you can say. The room as aged badly, there was mold in the grout and in the bathroom, and the molding and fixtures were scarred and needed repair and painting. The room smelled. The breakfast was standard powdered eggs. Overnight valet parking was $60 a night. Aging, below average property.

The main issue is the street noise. There is a lot. It's an area where the loudest cars like to cruise. It is difficult to sleep. Other than that, the staff were great. The rooms were good. The queen rooms are better than the king room. Unfortunately, I had two rooms and there were things missing from each. The first was conditioner in the shower. I asked them to bring it up but I never got it. The coffee was great & there is oat milk & to go cups. The breakfast was not good. Very few healthy items and not much selection. I ended up going elsewhere each day even though I intended to eat at the hotel.

Parking is crazy expensive, but I did know this going there. *(sidenote: if you use the parking lot “separately” from hotel, you only pay half price. It’s the same parking lot the hotel uses and they monitor it anyways for hotel people. You’re not “guaranteed” a spot from hotel they say, but if you park and don’t move it and take trolley everywhere, like we did, you don’t have to worry about that.). Front ladies were very nice. Valet and male bartender upstarts on roof top, we’re not happy about their jobs. First room had broken tv and blind, so we had to move which sucked. Double check things before you unpack lol. Bed was comfy enough and pillows. Breakfast was very good every morning. Grab extra snacks if need be. Bar was a little over priced. It knew that going in anyways. Def take trolley to the French quarter. They were so happy and easy going.

The property lost its charm quickly when I learned I was advised of 40 dollar self.park ((hotel charges you) and you go and park at the lot that is only $20. There is no value added benefit provided by hotel. Additionally we were up ALL night from ambulance and police sirens every night until 5:30 AM.
