The property was in a great location and front desk and door staff was helpful and good at their jobs. Our room had the LOUDEST air condiitoner and the toilet whistled a lot at night. Not enough to move rooms but enough to be annoying. One block to food and entertainment puts this location on the list to return too.

We like that we can walk all over the French Quarter from this hotel. Do not need a car. There is nothing I don't like about it. Every trip to Nola I stay here.

I have been busy and am late writing this review, but this hotel sticks in my head as one of the best I have ever stayed at. The woman who checked me into my room was just a plain good person, who was doing her job well just hours after a terrorist attack. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable with a magnificent view. The hotel lobby had a door that opened into a good restaurant, The whole thing created a happy memory.
