The overall Hotel is very nice and a great location to the French Quarter activity. The only real issue we had was the elevators went out for about an hour, leaving some of the residence stranded or walking down 10+ stairs to the ground level.

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs!!! This hotel has outdated facilities and charges an additional “designation fee at the end of your stay. Shower and sink clogs up and no refrigerator or microwave in some rooms. Staff was ok but seem very concerned about the wrong things. Wyndham should be ashamed to put their name on this location. When i brought up the bugs and photos, management did even flinch. They immediately moved me to another room where i saw more bugs.

Destination Fees Not Included! I was under the impression that when you book with Expedia that ALL fees were already included in the price. So when it came time to check out I was surprised to find an additional 30/night fee. It was not on the first page of the Expedia receipt, but a secondary page. So do not be argumentative with the hotel staff (as I was about to) if you were unaware of these destination fees too.

The rooms aren't the cleanest. Also, if you're on floors 19 or 20, you have to take two different elevators to your floor. Everyone was complaining about the false VIP-like experience. The cheap cost isn't worth the hassle. Too many drunks and homeless hanging around outside the property in the French Quarter. The other hotels didn't have any. Better choices throughout the Quarter. Prepaid rate is not what is required at check-in.

I liked the proximity to Bourbon St. and casino. food places were plentiful. "Mr. Ed" restaurant was excellent. Only draw back. Mattress needs to be turned at one time each week. I commend the valet service for their courtesy and professionalism. They were great.
