We really enjoyed staying here. The employees were super nice and went out of their way to help. The doormen were awesome from check in to departure! The building is older but it’s nice! We chose the queen bed option and it is tiny for 2 people with big luggage! I would stay here again but I would choose a double bed option for more space! This hotel is convenient to great eating, coffee shops with cute cafes & walking distance to pretty much anywhere you need to go from 34th St up, 6th-8th Ave and Broadway! Overall great 1st experience to NYC!

Hotel staff were amazing, location was perfect and within a few blocks of two different subway lines. The beds were the best thing about the hotel...phenomenal. Hotel you could tell was a little dated or older although they tried to make it look new or remodeled. We would likely stay again for the staff, comfort and location. Perfect to have an easy walk for Macy's Thanksgiving parade

Having a room on the 2nd floor, right above the entrance made for a very noisy experience. The construction on the opposite corner of the intersection seemed to ramp up most nights at midnight, which made it incredibly difficult to adjust to the timezone, and made mornings a write off. Cleaning services then would knock rather early, disturbing any chance at a good rest. Small room was as expected and clean. The area felt safe and was convenient. Din Tai Fung is so close and has great late night snacks and drinks. Would be a good visit once the construction is complete. The staff were very friendly. Key cards are rather finicky.
