Lovely hotel!

I loved the hotel. The lobby was bright and attractive. The doormen were friendly and helpful. As a single traveler, I felt more comfortable there than in other hotels in the area, and I have tried several. Even the hallways had a bright, safe feel to them. The breakfast room is lovely. The breakfast was totally weird—very skimpy but adequate for me. Hot dogs and mashed potatoes? I had yogurt and toast. For the price, great hotel— no complaints!

I booked for the location with good access to subway and JFK. I was delighted with the service and the staff. The hotel delivered as described. It was v v busy with Football fans at Club World Cup, yet it worked v well and staff were v courteous. Yes as per the reviews the breakfast room was v busy but with a small bit of patience its all manageable. I would suggest a 2nd toaster that would speed things up !! However I was very satisfied with the room and service and the froendly professional staff and would recomend it and would stay again for sure. Thank you.

For a 3 star hotel has to be considered excellent but the price is almost a 4 star. Good breakfast and very big rooms in a very walkable location

The room was clean and quiet. The location is perfect. My grandson and I stayed there three days and walked to Central Park, times square, Grand Central station and took the Subway to the 911 memorial. Herald square is next to the hotel and has multiple subway stations.

More choices for breakfast besides vienna sausages and mashed potatoes for breakfast. Charged me extra for room than what was expected. Breakfast guy was always pleasant and courteous when serving beverages for breakfast. Door men were always courteous.

I was treated very badly by front desk staff early morning upon check in. The woman took my card and ID, made me think I was checked in. Then told us to leave our bags and go eat breakfast first. We ate, came back downstairs to get our room key and bags. No room ready. We patiently waited, agreed to pay any extra fee’s because we were there before 4pm (which is crazy). Hours passed, still no acknowledgement from staff. I ask what’s going on she tells us the room will be ready shortly, then rudely asks us to wait away from her upstairs in bar. We keep checking in, still no room. We watched the 2 employees call in others who came after us. Telling them their room is ready! Around 4:10pm they check in other guests before us! At this point we waited 8 hours for our room. Insane! Finally they check us in. We ask to speak to a manager. They lie and say the girl who was rude is new. How does that fix anything? When entering the room, we have hair in shower and stained pillow cases. 8 hour wait, when promised our room was ready, then a dirty room. Unacceptable! I’m still waiting for acknowledgment from my report to management. Nothing! I will not be booking here again. Nor will any of my clients or the agencies connected to us. Throughout my stay we heard the same lies to new guests about rooms being unavailable and upset people sitting in the lobby past check in time. Don’t book here! You won’t have a clean room ready.

The toilet water ran all day and night , sounded like flushing every 30 minutes non stop. Breakfast has the same food- no eggs, just bagels, spring mix, mashed potatoes and small hotdogs. Coffee bad- from a keurig machine. Everything on paper plates and plastic utensils. No instructions to use the safe, called the front desk but unhelpful. Will not stay here again.
