Let me start by saying the staff was phenomenal! Absolutely the best of the best! The hotel is older, but very well maintained! It is conveniently located to the theater district and downtown! So much is within walking distance! Really the only downside is that there’s no coffee maker in the room.

Check in staff very friendly, they offer complimentary small sodas and bags of chips until they're gone.However, I didn't think I would stay here again. Despite rooms being available, they were were going to charge a $75 early check in fee, so my young daughter and I had to go find somewhere to hang out for 45 more minutes to avoid it. The hotel is heading away from Times Square/Broadway towards Hell's Kitchen and didn't feel incredibly safe to walk to. The lights in the elevator were flickering and reminded us of the Tower of Terror. The room itself was worn and aged, with chipped future and a lumpy bed with only 2 pillows, but clean. The bathroom was incredibly small and aged, but also clean. The desk staff gave us a room on the top floor with what I'd consider the best view possible of the courtyard for the theater we were going to see a show at, so that was nice. Overall, property is just ok- worked for the night, but not the best.

We were really disappointed to learn that the beautiful bar featured on your website for this hotel (the primary picture shown in fact) is not even inside the hotel. Instead it belongs to the adjacent restaurant which can only be accessed through the hotel. But we couldn’t even enjoy it because it closed early the night we stayed there! We were forced to go back out in the rain to enjoy our evening cocktails. Feel like we were deprived of one of the major features advertised for this stay. Additionally, your website states the the pricing includes all taxes and fees yet we were charged almost $23 in taxes and fees upon checkout. The garage was also located 3 blocks away making it more difficult to walk the city streets with our luggage upon arrival and departure. Overall We were very disappointed with almost every aspect of this stay and unless some form of reimbursement is tendered, we do not intend to ever stay there again nor use your website for our lodging needs.
