The bellman staff was excellent. they make the property. We had an issue with water drainage in our unit. I think this is due to the property being old. We loved the location and the complimentary coffee in the morning.

Great staff!! The room was clean, no fuss. The only thing to consider is the elevator wait time- the higher you are, the longer you wait because of the age of the building and its elevators. I would wait until I got down to the lobby to get a Lyft because I never knew how long it would take to get down there.

Bad Elevators but Otherwise Pretty Good

The building is old and beat up. The room I was in was relatively recently renovated and was quite nice. I would stay there again. My biggest complaint was the elevators. It is often a lengthy ordeal to get to or from a high floor in the building. There are some "additional elevators" you can use but they don't go all the way up. Overall it was good value for the money.

Location,location, location. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size. Only issue was the elementary school sized toilet. I can recommend staying here without any hesitation.

Price wasn't bad for the location. Valet parking was great. Walking distance to most things we wanted to see. Staff was promt and great when we needed anything. No good views out our window but we wasn't expecting one in the city. Can't say enough good about the staff. Very friendly and polite and helpful. Very clean hotel.

The hotel is a bit outdated if comparing to more modern places. I hated their loud A/C!!! The second floor corridor had a bad smell every single night-as if somebody was constantly cooking with garlic. Thankfully it did not penetrate into the room… The staff was kind and helpful. Walking distance to all Broadway theatres!

The property is in desperate need of a renovation. The rooms are dirty. On the surface it appears clean but then you see the hair in the tip, or the dirt in the corners of the rooms. Also, the windows have no blackout curtains or any curtains for that matter. So like it or not, your schedule is the sun’s schedule. The property staff are generally nice but the Asian guy at the front desk has a terrible attitude and is less than helpful.

Near theaters and dining. Both restaurants and small places for a quick bite. They have made improvements over the last year. Elevators are more accessible. Air conditioners were quieter. The front desk staff were more helpful than last year. The porters and cleaning staff continue to be excellent.

First NYC Visit

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The service from start to finish was amazing. The only issue was that our fridge wasn’t keeping things cold. (We didn’t tell the front desk until we were leaving). The staff was very apologetic. The location was convenient for the theater, Times Square as well as the subway!
