Staff not welcoming or friendly not advised no cooked breakfast provided until we discovered no food in the eating area! Upon asking was given a bag of packaged food. Room was tired with stained carpets and walls but very clean including bedding and sheets lots if hot water and good water pressure in shower. Adequate for one night stay as all our flights were cancelled out of JFK.

I needed a room last minute, after my flight got cancelled while at the airport, late at night. It was close to the station. That really is the only positive. The room had lots of screw holes in the walls from removed mirrors and bedlamps. The shower curtain was mouldy. The advertised breakfast didn’t exist. Had I had more time to research I wouldn’t have of booked here.

The staff was friendly, check-in was smooth and fast however the daily housekeeping wasn’t done in a regular basis. The location is great close to the train station and to the stores. The room was ok but the fast that you can hear your neighbors doing their stuff wasn’t friendly. Breakfast was light snacks to take away ( cookies, cracker, juice and healthy snacks bars ). TBH I was looking forward for a served breakfast. Overall experience was good but the fast that i couldn’t sleep well some nights because you can clearly hear the screams and noise from the other room and also i thought that the breakfast was a hot served breakfast.

The room was nice, but the only chair was a folding metal chair. But it you can see the chair in their room preview photo, so I should not have been surprised. The rest of the room was furnished nicely, but I would have appreciated a better chair.

Our flight was cancelled and I had to find an overnight stay last minute. I booked a room at this hotel and when I arrived, there was no one in the lobby. I understand that people have other things to do, but I tried calling a few times and couldn’t contact anyone so I went to another hotel. My complaint is that when I tried to get a refund, I was denied because I didn’t have travel insurance. But travel insurance wouldn’t have covered that anyway so I don’t see how that’s relevant. I was there, I tried to check in, and no one was there to receive me. Was I supposed to just sit in the lobby all night?
