This was a convenient location for the concert we were going to see which was literally a block away. We had an early dinner in the restaurant however, the food was not great. It was very mediocre. The staff was very pleasant however, and professional.

No air conditioning on a day when the temperature was 69 degrees. When I called the front desk, they told me they do not turn the air conditioning on until summer and I should crack the window. I had to leave and find them in the hotel. They did not refund my stay.

The hotel is nice and the rooms have been updated, but a lot of changes since the last time we stayed. Our room got extremely hot and the only ventilation was a window that opened slightly. This was not ideal for us as we were on the ninth floor and had a small child with us. We reached out to the front desk and was told there was nothing to be done as the ac is a central system and hadn't been changed over yet from heat to ac. We found that odd as there was ac in the hallways and lobby. Thankfully it cooled off some outside and our last 2 days were comfortable. The hotel seems to maybe be a warm shelter. This is great for the area and we applaud that if so, but we smelled a lot of weed smoke in the hallways, had someone spit out a window onto the sidewalk beside us and it was loud quite often. There is room service if you can get the restaurant that now operates in the hotel to answer their phone, but it is extremely expensive. The hotel is suppose to have shuttle service to and from Penn Station, however we walked more to and from as we couldn't get the shuttle to pick us. This was difficult as well as we had 2 children. We chose to come back to this hotel because they offered this service, but again, we had to walk more then ride, even in the pouring rain one morning. I hate to leave a bad review because we have really liked this hotel in the past, but I'm not sure we will stay here on future trips.

Unfortunately it was not the best experience. First we chose the hotel because of the airport shuttle. The website offers no details on this. Upon arrival we called and were told to go to P4, no instructions, or anything. After looking for P4 for a while and calling the hotel for details we gave up and took an Uber. Second, the AC was NOT working! It was a horrible miserable hot night. Third, it’s an old building in serious need of some TLC.

The room stated non-smoking when we arrived the entire hallway on the fifth floor smelled strongly of smoke, marijuana to be specific then our room had a smell of nicotine cigarettes the sheets smelled terribly of bleach and stale cigarettes also I called at 4:30 the front desk to request a hairdryer they said they would send it right up and it never arrived.

Hotel was nice very fancy looking on the outside the rooms were more average. We tried calling for dinner from the restaurant on site and no one answered plus they do not offer any kind of breakfast on the weekends. It’s the city so if you’re familiar with it parking is a nightmare and this was the case for the hotel as well. Other then that comfy rooms beds were a little firm for my liking and very warm in the rooms we couldn’t get it to blow any cool air only hot.

The ac system only provided HEAT. I call front desk they promise to send a technician but NEVER did. I was forced to crack the windows to cool down the room.
