Friendly staff!

We were lucky enough to get a last minute stay at Thayer for our trip. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They were great with recommendations for local places to play golf and dine. The room and hotel were clean. There are reviews that say there’s noise from planes and trains but we didn’t hear a thing.

I have to recognize two individuals who were great. My flight was canceled and I was not able to arrive on Friday. I spoke to the front desk manager Emily and she was extremely helpful. Could have passed me off since I had made reservations via Expedia but she didn’t. The second person was the main valet kid. I say kid because he could have not been more than 20 years old. I feel bad I cannot remember his name. Super friendly, helpful and was quick to get my car and was quick to get my car. He was running a well oiled valet machine.

The grounds were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The service was very inconsistent, guys at the bar were great but the seemed uninterested or bothered with helping guests. Surprising for such an expensive place
