Cozy cabin nestled in the woods, 5 minutes to Sunapee Mountain & lake!

Newly built cabin in December of 2023, is close to everything with feeling very far away. The cottage is a short scenic 7 minute drive to Sunapee Mountain and State Park. In the summer months, the park has public swimming with restrooms, and boat rentals .Two minutes away from the cabin there is a public boat ramp for access to Lake Sunapee and a public dock (Blodgett's Landing) for swimming and watching some of the best sunsets anywhere. The cabin is also part of the Chalk Pond Association. A mile down the road you will find tennis courts and a sweet playground for the kids available for your use. There is swimming at the pond as well at the newly renovated beach. A canoe owned by the cabin is at the pond to use at your leisure. There are many excellent hikes close by. One trailhead located right across from the property. Perfect for a winter or summer hike with great views of the lake and mountain.
Our cabin was designed with comfort and leisure in mind. Lots of windows, that give a feeling of the outside coming in. Open concept first floor with tiled radiant heating will keep you cozy after a long day on the slopes, hiking, ice fishing or whatever your choice of play! In the summer the floor will keep cool. Perfect after a day of summertime adventure! Large ceiling fans are throughout the cottage and each bedroom has a floor AC unit. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make your stay feel like home. There is a pantry for storing food items you have brought. Turn on the cast iron gas stove, kick back and relax with one of the many board games or watch a movie on the smart TV with surround sound in the spacious living room. Connect to the Bluetooth speaker and listen to your vacation play list. Washer and dryer located on the first floor for your convenience. Down stairs bedroom with beautiful large windows has queen size bed and smart tv perfect to end your day. Second floor has large bed room with queen size bed, sitting area for a quiet escape with a good book and a smart TV. Third bedroom has two twin beds also with smart TV. Both bathrooms are full with stand up showers. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience. A large covered porch is the perfect place to relax, eat dinner or enjoy a beverage at the end of the day. There is a gas grill on the porch and in the warmer months enjoy the fire pit area, outdoor shower with rain head and yard games. The cabin is equipped with a charger for electric cars for a no worries stay. There is plenty of parking with room for trailers with boat, snowmobile, etc.

The town of New London is a few miles away with great restaurants, shopping and even a playhouse in the summer months for some evening entertainment. The town of Newbury has a park with public dock for swimming, and an ice cream stand and restaurant right across the street. A short drive around the lake you will find the picturesque town of Sunapee. Where you can grab some lunch by the water or take a cruise on the Sunapee steamboat, offering dinner cruises and day time tours. Not only is the Sunapee area perfect for skiing/riding and playing in the crystal clear water, Sunapee has terrific hiking, mountain biking and fishing in all season. Zip lining at the mountain is fun for the more adventurous!
