This single storey cottage has two bedrooms both with queen size beds, flat screen TV's and ceiling fans.

The home features two separate living areas, the south facing lounge room spills out onto the beautiful deck and has views across the bay of Lake Macquarie. The Lounge area is equipped with flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD player.

The second living area adjoins the modern kitchen and is at the rear of the house and has a double sofa lounge. Next to the second living area is a full laundry with Washing Machine, Dryer, and Ironing facilities.

The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, Dishwasher, Tea and Coffee and all the modern kitchen gadgets.

Sun, Surf, Fish, Golf or Relax

Sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the lake as the Ducks and Pelicans pass by or hit the Golf course for a round Golf at the beautiful Belmont Course.

Launch the boat at the public boat ramp and head off to get the catch of the day ready for that afternoon BBQ as you take in the beautiful summer sunsets.

The property is conveniently located only 5 minutes drive from beautiful Blacksmiths Beach, or an easy 5 minute walk to Belmont Golf Club. Shopping facilities are available at either Belmont or Swansea.

The cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults (2 queen beds and 1 double sofa) . All bedding linen and towels are provided.

We were very happy with the Ducks Bungalow as it delivered on everything advertised and we had an enjoyable 8 nights. Only disappointment is the WIFI and internet connection as it is in some type of black spot. Even using my phone as a mobile hotspot gave very poor results.

Christmas break
After a nightmare start, couldn’t get into property with codes given. Once in the place was beautiful, a few maintenance issues needed. Like light in bathroom not working, cold water tap in shower needs looking at, tv in first bedroom not working properly a few door handles need repairing. The dog next door howled a lot and more privacy needed whilst out on the deck. All in all it was a lovely holiday but has a few issues to be fixed with the price that is charged.

The view! It’s unbeatable. The home is extremely close to a beautiful swimming spot - Naru Beach, walking distance to a coffee shop that sells worlds best Portuguese tarts and has a super friendly doggo next door that loves a pat. Although there is no air con, the house has 2 portable fans that help keep you cool. The place we spent most of our time was water side on the deck or with our feet in the water. The kitchen is fully stocked which was a wonderful surprise. Overall, just lovely.

Small issues
Toilet light didn’t work at all. Bedroom door handle lock has dent into wall. I don’t want to be accused of this. Suggest repair and install doorstop. Dog next door was making crying noises and jumping at fence while we ate dinner on verandah. Maybe a coverage of cloth or bamboo at bottom half of fence so both can’t see each other.

What an amazing location! The house was clean and comfortable, with everything you’d need for a little getaway. My family and I only had one night at Ducks Bungalow, unfortunately. We would love to stay again. The idea of enjoying a glass of wine with a cheese platter at sunset, overlooking the water is very tempting. I’d highly recommend this property.

Perfect stay for 2 couples
Comfortable stay perfect for my 2 night short holiday, the house is identical to online photos and very clean. Enjoyed the ease of entry with pin. I messaged the host in relation to kayak hire, although i didnt land up hiring the kayak (due to weather) I found the owner to have quick and friendly to contact. Overal my experience was very pleasent and would return in the future
