Lovely neighborhood for a morning walk after a good breakfast to start our day. Room was spacious and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed. Very charming and definitely would stay here again.

The room, foyer, linens, tables, bathroom everything was so clean and fresh. We loved all the thoughtful items: games, dinner drinks, snacks, coffee/teas all day if desired. Walking to downtown to a restaurant, store, hop on,hop off bus, etc within 15 minutes. Breakfast was not rushed and perfect with some extra treats. Most of all this Inn is so organized, they have already figured out whatever you may need.

Angela was so kind and welcoming. This inn felt like home. The breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. We were about a twenty minute walk from the center of Newport. It was far enough away that everything was so quiet. We commented several times that we could not hear anyone in the other rooms coming and going. The common sitting area outside of the dining room was very peaceful. There are afternoon cocktails, and treats served in this room. The smell of fresh baked goods coming from the kitchen is always present. It is easy to see why this inn has won so many awards. I would say the only downside for this inn is if you have any difficulties with stairs, you should book a room on the ground floor. I did not expect our room to be on the 2nd floor and I found it a little difficult getting up and down the outside stairs to the second floor. You cannot go wrong here. We will be back.

Staff recommended using UBER for transportation. UBER was terrible/unreliable. For 25 minute UBER said it was 2 minutes away. We left for dinner. I am not sure they ever came. Please do not allow your staff to recommend UBER. You are doing a disservice to your guests.

This was our first time staying here. check in was seamless. The owner was friendly and welcoming. small snacks and cocktails were available in the living room. It was an easy walk to Thames Street for shopping and dining. Will definitely stay again.
