Beautiful property and convenient to just about everything on the downtown water front. Parking is valet only so be advised, but they were great! Wish the property had a bar onsite. My only complaint is that you can hear everything from anyone above you, the room above me , I could hear the bathroom pocket door slide back and forth and footsteps, which was very disappointing when trying to sleep in the morning. Outside of that, great property and experience overall.

The room was not big, but beautifully designed with a gorgeous view on to the water. We enjoyed the lobby area and the dock for enjoying our morning coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is in a perfect location for all the local gems. Although the rooms are tiny, it’s clean and very modern inside. I got to say my favorite part was the valet experience! Def recommend using the valet as it’s so convenient and the staff were on point and so nice!!! I would like to give a huge shout out to all the valet staff!!

We spent four nights at Hammetts Hotel, and had a wonderful stay in Newport. The hotel is situated in the center of everything. Beautiful sunsets over the wharf.

Good location

The location was perfect for walking on Thames St. close to restaurants and shops. Room was small but nice. No refrigerator in the room so we could not keep any drinks or food. This was a big one for me. I really do use a fridge while away just for small things. I don’t know where they would put it since it’s such a small room but it’s standard at hotels I was kinda shocked there wasn’t one. This hotel is good for an overnight or a few days only.

A great location. Excellent restaurants nearby. A new property, so it is very “fresh” and clean. But rooms are quite small, very limited space to hang things on a rack. No breakfast provided at all, although free coffee provided downstairs. Expensive valet parking.

Not to impressed

The personal at the front desk not to friendly and they careless of our need. It’s nice building but I wasn’t too impressed considering the high price. Plus, not complimentary coffee in the room and the room were clean but very tiny space, we barely have room to pass by around the bed and the bathroom. The positive part of our stay it was, the elevator and entrances are very secure and the valet service was exceptional 👌
