We called ahead to see if we could check in prior to 3pm as we had a wedding to attend at 3pm. A man called us back and asked if we could be there for a 130pm check in. We arrived around 145pm and there was no staff. After waiting 15mins, a man arrived and was very rude to myself and my husband about how check in is at 3pm and we inconvenienced the staff by asking to check in early Meanwhile this man asked us to arrive at 130pm. Very unfriendly and will not be staying again.

The place was sparkling clean, had everything we needed. It was super close to the Mount Sunapee Resort. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay for few days.

The toilet and the sink in the bathroom were not installed securely. The baseboard heat covers were not installed with any type of care. Looked like it was put together with a 20lb hammer. The internet was non-existence. It was one night last minute find so it fit our needs. The shower was nice and roomie with a strong and steady flow of hot water.

We love staying here the night before skiing at Sunapee. The rooms are very large, modern and super clean. There’s a fridge, Keurig (with pods) and comfortable bed and pillows. It’s only 8 minutes to the slopes.

Great motel, awesome friendly staff.

Brief overnight stay for NYE. Rooms a spotless clean and very roomie. We stated in the renovated side of motel. Cannot comment on the other Rooms not yet renovated.

We would stay again.

Room was up-to-date. Bathroom was a little dated but OK. The room was very clean. Nice and close to Mount Sunapee for skiing or enjoying the lake.

No hot water in room. No emergency contact number posted in room. Got hot water next morning after check-out time. Then cleaning staff rushed me to check out even though I was already told by manager to take my time. I am handicap and no fall prevention on floor of to.. I believe this was reason enough to be compensated for my most terrible experience. And to top this off, I booked a deluxe rm promised a separate living room and separate bedroom which was definitely not what I needed, which I made clear to motel attending staffer. But got no satisfaction at all. I find this outrageous and warn everyone to be very careful if they dare booking a room at The Newport Motel in Newport NH .

Clean

When I checked in, I was greeted by an extremely friendly gentleman. He had put the heat on in our room, and turned on some lights because we checked in late. I only have a few complaints. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy. I usually a light on for a night light. It was not possible. The powered coffee mate was old and solid. Couldn’t use it. The soap was the size of a quarter. Not enough for three of us to take a shower.
