Hard Beds

The floor was coming up, it was unsanitary. The bathroom was small. It was a large room with only two small lamps. The noise from upstairs was horrible, up until midnight. There were no phones in the room to call and report the party going on upstairs. I paid for an ocean view room but I got a room that had a view of the building between us and the ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were a walk across the parking lot. The breakfast was all cold food. You get what you pay for but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall we had a good stay. The staff was friendly. We did have a broken lamp shade in our room. I would also recommend putting in towel racks. There was no where to hang towels to dry but the closet rod. I would also suggest more hangers in the closet. There was no hair dryer in the room. I would explain better that there is no beach access from the hotel. On the pictures it looks like you can walk right to the beach. You have to walk down the road which is fine but a better explanation would have been great. The breakfast bar was pretty good.

The beds are old, outdated and lumpy. Nkt onlybdod ny wife and I not have a good sleepndue to old lumpy spring mattreses, our kids also complained about them. The riom directly above us were suoer noisy untilnalmost midnight. Sounded like kids running, jumping and moving of furniture or beds.

The pictures made it seem as if you could walk onto the beach, but you actually have to walk/drive a few blocks away to get there. Which wasn’t the biggest issue for us. The pool area was in dire need of help…the ceiling was peeling and gross. The pool and hot tub were clean though. Our toilet was really old and had chips in the seat. And there was a huge gap under the door, we woke up to small ants crawling on the floor. Being on the bottom floor we dealt with the family above us stomping and running until probably 11 pm, and it was the loudest bottom floor room I’ve ever been in. Cops were at our hotel the day we checked in dealing with something in the parking lot. And the breakfast option was really sad—yogurt, cheese sticks, juice, cereal or bagel. Definitely will not be staying again.

Fine for the budget traveler. Some basic, inexpensive upgrades would go a long way here! Fully rusted breaking shower curtain for example, not an expensive thing that would help make it look not so run down. No beach access was a bummer too. But good location to Nye Beach front shops, etc.

Ocean view but not easy to find road to walk down

My son enjoyed the pool. We liked our hotel it just didn’t have an elevator n we were on the 3rd floor. Also thought beach was steps away but never got to go ocean beach because it was dark when arrived n couldn’t find which road needed to take to get there. Parking tight. Seemed little pricey for ocean view only not easily accessible.

First off not as advertised. beds not comfortable. Springs . Room was not fully stocked with towels. Tub was slippery almost fell . Can hear your neighbors. They have updated lights but little no patch work. Holes in walls. Pool area needs some attention. Ceiling/Walls coming apart inside. Not enough towels in there either. Good thing I brought my own. Pool was cold. Overall will not be staying there again.

I staff in the lobby were kind and very polite. The room we stayed in had ants and there was also a large gap from the door and the ground that let in a lot of cold air. The pool area was run down and ceiling had water damage and was dripping water. It worked for our one night but will not be staying again unless serious updates are made.
