Horrible!

We didn't get to stay at the Oaks. We got there, stood in line to check in, then was told "we've been trying to get in touch with you" as our room apparently was "under renovations " and we had to move to another hotel. I had no missed calls nor emails. We had to reload our luggage into the car, and also wait in la long ine again. My feet were swollen and i was in pain, so this was not fun. The parking was horrendous and a few blocks over and didn't have proper signage, so my husband went to the wrong place and waited a long time for a shuttle that never came until he realized he was at the wrong place. For the inconvenience, we should have been given a discount or free parking.

Stayed the night with my family. Upon arrival the room wasn’t ready and it was after 4pm. It wasn’t just me, multiple guests had to wait in the lobby for their room after check in time. Didn’t receive any kind of compensation. But if I were to be 5 mins late on check out, I’m sure they would have charged me. The staffs excuse was “we had guests which extended their stay”. Not my problem, they over booked themselves and gave a giant middle finger (figuratively) to the guests who were suppose to be checking in. Besides that everything else was ok. I’ll never stay there again though. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I loved my stay at this hotel. Amazing view of the falls and great location (close to casino lol) Just it was not as much as clean for my expectations . There is no restaurant or bar to hangout with other travelers as a solo traveler but there are everything around so not a deal-breaker.

I would have rated everything a 5 star if not for the condition of the carpets. It's time for some renovation. Everything else specially the view was perfect!

Hilton Niagara falls/Fallsview, Terrible Experienc

We originally had our weekend booked with "Oaks Hotel Overlooking the Falls", but the day before our actual check in they called us to move us to their Sister Hotel, they said it was do to with certain Maintenance reasons, the name if their Sister Hotel is,"Hilton Niagara falls/Fallsview Hotel resort & Suites" after calling their sister Hotel to ask them if we can check in earlier if the rooms were ready after 1:00pm (check in times usual are 4:00pm) they said yes but it would $Cost us $75 for each individual room we have booked, (we had 3 rooms booked originally)if we wanted to check in earlier, so we declined at that time due to the ealy check in $Fee which was quoted to us at that time on the phone. When we actual arrived to the Hotel non of our rooms were ready at all, and this was 4:00pm check in time, then after we actually did get our rooms at between 5:30 and 6:00pm they told us our room are not close together like we first requested at booking, we needed to be close do to the fact we had our young teens and 3year old with us, which we had a separate room booked for. so they put one of the rooms in a totally separate Hotel Tower (which was in another part of the Hotel) on top of this we still hade to $pay the $80 for each night for parking(they wouldnt even comp us for the Parking for all the inconvenient we went through at check in) i do have lots more to say about our Terrible Experience we went through at this Hotel which was the "Hilton Niagara falls/Fallsview

This property is a budget hotel without the budget price. Parking is 50 per night! There are no coffee makers, microwaves or alarm clock radios in the rooms. Tv is small, no vanity in the tiny washroom. We had a 2 queen fallsview room. I would not recommend staying there.
